Personal Work: A ZBrush sculpt of a rat warrior fitted with beetle carapace armour. This was an anthropomorphized anatomy study of a bipedal rat warrior. I studied a variety of rats (with and without fur) and didn't want to lose many of the key features like the strong skin flaps on the chest/abdominals, abdominals/thighs, and along the serratus (back).
I developed this character with a rough game idea that your rat character would become more diseased and lose fur as the game progressed.
